Procedures
Sanctions:
All players must pay a one-time annual association sanction fee of $15.00 the first time he or she plays! That means that the first time a player plays it’$23.00. In addition, a complete current mailing address must accompany the fee. If the addresses were included with the team’s original roster submitted to the league office then simply enclose the fee in that week’s envelope.
There will be no exceptions to the above policy; players who play and without being sanctioned will have their scores removed from the score sheet!
Teams that have their sanction fees paid by their sponsors are exempt from the above!
Score sheet maintenance:
Players who have a TRS rating will play according to the number under the HA column on the stats sheet; this average will not change until after a player has played four (4) weeks. After which time, their season’s average will become active!
Players who have the letter N posted after their first name on the stats sheet show 1 under the default handicap.
DO NOT USE 1 for a new player playing for the first time. A player (N) first week match scores are divided by 4 to attain their match handicap!
Once a new player (N) has completed their first week, the number listed in the HA column will be their handicap.
Please remember the only time a Handicap is manually calculated after a match, is the first time a player plays!
Team Fees:
The home team captain is responsible for collecting the team league fee $32.00 per team!
It is always more prudent to collect the fee prior to beginning the match; this eliminates someone walking out at the completion of a match and forgetting to pay.
REMEMBER the fee is $32.00 per team, not $8.00 per player. If a team is a player short, the fee is still $32.00. A recommendation is for the captain to set a team policy that each player contributes to the shortage and insure that the player who did not show not be allowed to play in any future matches until the team is reimbursed.
